Burnside Library can load books onto Audio Navigators provided by the Royal Society for the Blind to visually impaired customers.

A Navigator is a hand held digital audio player that provides users with a very simple interface to listen to audiobooks. There is a vast range of books available to registered Navigator users.

Audio Book Discussion Group

Members must have a navigator.

Our Audio Book Discussion Group is a Burnside Library Book Group with a difference. On the fourth Wednesday of each month from 1 pm to 3 pm the members meet in our Local History Room to discuss a specific book. The session usually begins with a reading by one of our volunteers. Members include partners and carers who all enjoy the lively discussion and also offer support to each other.

See Related Files below for dates and book titles.

If you or anyone you know would like to be part of this group, please contact Heather on 8366 4280.
