Burnside Painting Group

The Burnside Painting Group Inc. provides a pleasant environment for anyone interested in learning and practicing painting and drawing. Membership is open to beginners and to more experienced painters and enables members to exhibit their work.

The Group organises short courses given by experienced painters at sessions on Mondays from 10am to 12 noon or Wednesdays from 8pm to 10pm. There are monthly social meetings where demonstrations and talks are presented by well known artists.

Burnside Symphony Orchestra

Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at 7.45 to 10.00pm in Town Hall They hold three concerts per year to benefit Save the Children, Burnside Rotary, Royal District Nursing Society and Sailability.
