About the Library

The Burnside Library offers a wide range of facilities and services for SA residents, which include lending, special events, IT training, children's programs and internet & wireless access. To find out more, click on the related links on the right of the screen.

To join the library, you will need to register with identification containing your current address and signature. If you are under 18, you will need a signature from a parent or guardian.

Residents aged 18 or over can register by completing the form below and bringing it in to the library with identification.

Public PC policy (49 kb)

You are able to borrow up to 50 items for four weeks including

• 10 compact discs
• 10 cassettes
• 10 DVDs (for 1 week)
• 5 Blu-Ray discs (for 1 week)

Should you require an item that the library doesn't hold, we will attempt to order it in from another Library.

An after-hours return chute is available at the rear of the library in Hyde Street.
