The Chief Executive Officer has exercised delegations from the Council under a variety of State legislation to authorise Council staff as 'Authorised Officers'. Authorised Officers have a wide range of powers to administer the statutes under which they are appointed.
Authorised Officers will always carry identification from the City of Burnside indicating their status as Authorised Officers and the statutes under which they are authorised.

The Register of Actual, Material or Perceived Conflicts of Interest lists details of the disclosure by an Elected Member or Committee Member of an actual or perceived conflict of interest in a matter discussed at a meeting of the Council or a Committee.

Section 90 of the Local Government Act 1999 provides that a Council or Council Committee may order the public to be excluded from attendance at a meeting. To do this the Council or Committee must apply an order which will specify the reason for the order, duration of the order or the circumstances in which the order will cease to apply, or a period after which the order must be reviewed.
This register is a listing of all the items that the council has retained in confidence.
