The City of Burnside has an established Volunteer Community Transport Program that provides community members with a convenient and affordable method of transport via a wide range of services.
Community buses deliver programs such as shopping trips and group excursions and are are also available for charter for local community groups.
Community Shopping Bus
The shopping service provides transport for residents and their shopping on a Council bus between their home and either Burnside Village or Norwood Shopping Centre. All shopping trips have an option for passengers to make a donation of a gold coin instead of charging a fee for the service.
