3Rs (Respite, Recreation, Revitalisation)
The 3Rs Program is a centre and community based program funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) that provides support to socially isolated older people, people with memory loss and younger people with an Acquired Brain Injury. The 3Rs assists people to reconnect with their community and activities of their choice while providing respite and support for their carers.
The 3Rs encourages participants to remain healthy and active in their community through the provision of:
- Meaningful activities.
- Increased physical activity.
- Social interaction.
- Assistance in developing or relearning knowledge and skills.
- Assistance with linking into other community activities.
The Program runs throughout the Eastern region and covers the council areas of Burnside, Walkerville, Prospect, Campbelltown, Norwood, Payneham & St Peters and Unley.
