Community Grants

The purpose of the program is to encourage, develop and support community projects or events that provide a service to the residents of the City of Burnside. It also fosters opportunities for individuals, community groups and organisations to access and participate in a wide range of recreation, cultural, community and environmental activities and projects.

Grant funding of up to $2,500 is available for one of two categories – Projects or Events.

Funding is offered once a year and, for the 2016/17 financial year, applications open Monday 12 September 2016 and close Monday 24 October 2016. Late applications will not be accepted.

Applications will be considered from community groups and organisations who are either located in the City of Burnside local government area, or are situated outside the City of Burnside area yet provide a service that primarily impacts upon Burnside residents.
