Youth FM Radio Program
Are you the next Hamish and Andy? Youth FM is a youth radio show produced by young people, for young people, and we are looking for new presenters!
Youth FM is a joint initiative of the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters, City of Burnside, City of Campbelltown, City of Prospect and Town of Walkerville. Young people aged 15 - 25 who live, work, or study in these Council areas are invited to apply.
The Youth FM Radio Training is a unique opportunity for young people to learn about radio, interviewing and producing documentaries. The training leads to an opportunity to become a member of the Youth FM team to produce features for radio (Three D Radio 93.7fm) on an ongoing basis in a supportive team environment. Involvement with the Youth FM Program provides an excellent opportunity for young people to develop and demonstrate transferable skills that increase their employability. Skills include public speaking, written and verbal communication and technical radio abilities. Youth FM may also act as a stepping stone to other volunteer or career pursuits in the radio and media industries.
If you live, work or study in the City of Burnside and want to be considered for a place, download the application form below and email it to Rosanna Busolin at firstname.lastname@example.org
Youth FM airs every Thursday from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm on the Three D Radio 93.7fm. Tune in and have a listen.
