The City of Burnside together with the City of Campbelltown last night held a traders’ launch for the Magill Village Partnership.

More than 30 business representatives attended Pepper Street Arts Centre for an update on the project and the launch of the branding.

The Magill Village Partnership is a collaboration between the City of Burnside and Campbelltown City Council to improve the Magill Village experience.

The Magill Village precinct is centred on the intersection of Magill Road and St Bernards / Penfold Road in Magill. It is located approximately 6 km east of the Adelaide CBD within both the Campbelltown City Council and the City of Burnside Council areas.

The Magill Village Partnership seeks to achieve a renewal of the Magill Village experience. It recognises that the most successful places evolve through business, community, education and government, partnering together to achieve a shared vision.

Burnside Mayor David Parkin said both Councils are fully committed to working together to realise the intent of the Master Plan.

“Design work continues over the next year before the civil works commence in late 2018. We will keep the Traders engaged, informed and fully supported during this time.”
