#rideburnside Pump Track
The ‘all wheels - all ages’ pump track is a free recreational facility for all wheeled sports including bikes of all types, scooters, skateboards and the very cool balance bike for toddlers.
Open from sunrise to sunset everyday.
BYO bikes, skateboard, roller skates, scooters, balance bikes etc.
Safety stuff:
- some equipment is not suitable for use (3 wheels, go-karts, motorised equipment, bikes with training wheels)
- wear protective gear and helmet
- keep distance between riders
- daylight hours only
- slippery when wet
- parent/guardian supervision required
History
On 26 September 2023 Council resolved ongoing rotation of the pump track between five locations: Penfold Park, Langman Recreation Reserve, Symons & Symons Reserve paved area, Miller Reserve courts and Linden Avenue Reserve car park.
Location
The pump track is currently located at Miller Reserve courts, found on the corner of Sturdee Street and Devereux Road, Linden Park. The pump track will be moving to the next location Langman Recreation Reserve 17 September.
