Recycling your batteries in the City of Burnside.
It is important to recycle the materials used in electronic goods. The recycling process creates jobs in South Australia and reduces landfill. Electronic waste (e-waste) has been banned from landfill since 2013.
The City of Burnside offers mobile phone recycling through our recycling hub. We also accept phone for reuse that are donated to domestic violence survivors.
The City of Burnside is committed to reducing the amount of waste we send to landfill by encouraging re-use, repair and sharing.
The Recycling & re-use hub was purpose-built to accept some household items that cannot be placed in the recycling bin at home. These items will be re-used or recycled when dropped off at the The Recycling & re-use hub.
