George Bolton Swimming Centre Burnside

The George Bolton Swimming Centre summer season 2025/26 is open from Saturday 27 September 2025 through to Sunday 26 April 2026.

Pools will be cleared of patrons 10 minutes before close time. 

The centre is closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

LATE SESSION: When the temperature exceeds 35ºC at 5pm, the Centre will remain open for one hour longer than normal closing time.

Please note, there will be no late session on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. The Swimming Centre closes at 6pm regardless of temperature being over 35ºC at 5pm.

The George Bolton Swimming Centre Burnside is a Watch Around Water Endorsed Pool and is committed to providing a safe and family friendly environment.

Accessibility

• Accessible toilets: 3 family/disabled toilets, 1 ambulant toilet in male change room and 1 ambulant toilet in female change room.
• One Changing Places facility - includes shower, toilet, adult change table and hoist system.
• Disabled car parking: 2 spaces accessed via service drive in Hazelwood Park.
• Access ramps into building and around pools.
• Ramp entry into main pool.
• Fully fenced.
