Are you passionate about creating vibrant, connected communities? The City of Burnside is seeking a dynamic Team Leader Events and Activation to drive innovative programs, events, and meaningful partnerships, that make our city a connected, thriving community.
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Oversee strategic delivery of community centres, arts spaces, and major events.
- Design and deliver programs that bring spaces to life and foster community engagement in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Build strong partnerships with local businesses, community organisations, and stakeholders.
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver innovative, high-quality services aligned with Council’s Strategic Community Plan.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage diverse teams.
- Strong background in event planning, community activation, and venue management.
- Ability to forge partnerships and negotiate sponsorships that enhance community outcomes.
- A creative, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Strategic mindset with project management and budgeting expertise.
- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
Requirements:
- Some out-of-hours work may be required.
- Unencumbered SA Driver’s Licence.
The position is on a full-time, classified at Level 6 plus 12% superannuation under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023.
