The Volunteer's role is to assist with the delivery and pickup of library books and materials to older adults in their own homes and residential facilities.
Required:
- Volunteers required to assist for weekly Friday shift
- Current clearances - Police check and Working With Children Check
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the delivery and pick up of library books and materials to ensure an efficient and effective delivery service.
- Maintain borrowing information as required.
- Deliver and pick up books on route
- Maintain the work area in a clean and tidy manner
- Wear appropriate neat casual clothing
- Promote and project Council's commitment as Customer First organisation
- Adhere to Customer Service standards, EO principles and WHS policies
Experience/Qualifications:
- Hi degree of personal integrity and deal with matters confidentially
- Flexible work approach
- Community minded and engaging
- Long term volunteers
