Get ready to explore, create, and discover with Burnside Library's Curiosity Club, a free STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) club designed for children aged 7-12!
Each month, we'll embark on a new adventure with a different hands-on STEAM activity that will challenge your creativity and spark your natural curiosity. From building fantastic contraptions to experimenting with amazing reactions, there's always something exciting to learn and do.
Next session: Balancing Xmas Ornaments
December is holiday season, so we're going to exercise our knowledge of physics and create some perfectly balanced ornaments for decorating your home. Can you come up with an ingenious creation that looks like it defies gravity? Let's see if we can make an ornament that balances well, even if it looks like it shouldn't!
Curiosity Club meets every second Tuesday of the month from 4pm to 5pm.
Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in the fun and assist their children as they tackle each session's engaging challenge - registrations are not required for parents and caregivers.
Please note: Tickets for the upcoming month's session become available the day after after each club meeting. Be sure to grab yours to secure a spot for the next exciting STEAM exploration!
