Whether you’re looking for a bit of help in the garden, assistance with household tasks like vacuuming, or someone to handle small repairs, we can connect you with reliable services to help keep things running smoothly.
The City of Burnside Home Support Program can also arrange the installation of a range of minor home adjustments including grab rails to keep you safe and help you to maintain your independence.
Who is eligible?
The City of Burnside Home Support Program home and property maintenance is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). To be eligible for services, you must be aged 65 years or older or 50 years or older if you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
Before you can receive services you will need to contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 for an assessment. My Aged Care will determine the services you are eligible for and then provide you with referral codes for these services. To access our services you will require a Home maintenance and repairs, or Domestic Assistance referral code from My Aged Care. To commence services, please phone us with your referral code.
