Colour Seasons Exhibition Launch

This exhibition opened on Friday 6 October at 6 pm. The opening speaker was Margaret Tuckey, Artist, Teacher and Fellow of Royal South Australian Society of Arts.

The Wild Fibre Artists chose Colour Seasons as their theme for the year. The artists share a passion to create art with fibres and textiles and enjoy exhibiting together.

The gallery was filled with a lively and colourful display of unique textile works. Some of the artists created work to reflect nature's seasons while others took a more abstract perspective.

Though each artist works independently, they enjoy exhibiting together and building on diversity of skill and experience. Their mediums include weaving, spinning, basketry, stitch, printing, papermaking, felt, machine embroidery, leatherwork and other various mixed media.
